The Rustec Waxoyl Treatment is a robust internal and external rust-proofing system that offers effective, affordable protection against vehicle corrosion. Ideal for vehicles showing light to moderate signs of rust, it helps protect vulnerable areas from moisture, road salt and further deterioration.
Every Waxoyl treatment begins with a comprehensive vehicle inspection and full photographic documentation. The vehicle interior is protected before the underside undergoes a thorough cleaning process using high-temperature pressure washing and steam cleaning to remove dirt, grease, road salt and accumulated debris.

All accessible chassis rails, box sections, sills and structural cavities are treated with Waxoyl cavity wax. This penetrating product is designed to help protect hidden internal surfaces where moisture can accumulate and corrosion often develops unseen.

Once cleaned, the vehicle is allowed to dry thoroughly. Any minor to moderate surface corrosion is mechanically prepared and treated where required, helping to stabilise existing corrosion before protective coatings are applied. This treatment is best suited to vehicles with light to moderate corrosion and is not intended for severely corroded vehicles requiring extensive restoration work.

The vehicle's underbody and exposed components are then treated with a protective Waxoyl coating. This creates a durable barrier against moisture, road salt and environmental contaminants, helping to reduce future corrosion and preserve the vehicle's condition.
