Every Dinitrol treatment begins with a detailed vehicle inspection and full photographic documentation. Undertrays, wheel arch liners and selected components are removed where required, giving our technicians access to vulnerable areas that are often missed during basic underbody treatments.

Once dry, existing surface corrosion is mechanically prepared and removed where appropriate. Remaining stable corrosion is treated using specialist corrosion-control products, helping to stabilise the surface before protection is applied.

All accessible chassis rails, box sections, sills, seams and structural cavities are treated with Dinitrol ML cavity wax. This penetrating cavity treatment creeps into hidden areas where moisture can collect and corrosion often develops unseen.

The underside of the vehicle is thoroughly cleaned using high-temperature pressure washing and steam cleaning. This removes dirt, grease, road salt and built-up debris, creating a clean foundation for proper rust-proofing and corrosion protection

Before any protective coatings are applied, the vehicle is thoroughly dried to ensure optimum product adhesion and performance. The vehicle is then carefully masked and protected, with sensitive and inspection-critical components covered to prevent overspray. This meticulous preparation stage helps deliver the high standard of finish and protection expected from a Rustec Dinitrol treatment.

The vehicle's underbody and exposed components are treated with Dinitrol 4941, creating a durable protective barrier against moisture, road salt and environmental contaminants.
Once complete, the vehicle is carefully reassembled and quality checked before collection. Customers are then enrolled into the Rustec Lifetime Care Programme, which includes free annual inspections and minor top-up applications, along with a Rustec Corrosion Protection Service Booklet to record future inspections and maintenance visits.
