RUSTEC – MOT ADVISOR REFERRAL PROGRAMME
TERMS & CONDITIONS

1. DEFINITIONS
“Rustec” means Braydon Elite Ltd trading as Rustec.
“Advisor” means an individual MOT tester or vehicle inspection advisor participating in the referral programme.
“Referral” means a customer introduced to Rustec via the Advisor’s unique referral QR code or referral ID.
“Completed Treatment” means a rust-protection service carried out and paid for in full by the customer.
“Reward” means the referral payment payable to the Advisor under this programme.
2. ELIGIBILITY
2.1 The programme is open to individual MOT advisors operating in the UK.
2.2 Advisors participate in a personal capacity, not on behalf of their employer.
2.3 Advisors are solely responsible for ensuring their participation does not breach their employer’s internal policies or employment contract.
2.4 Rustec accepts no liability for disputes between Advisors and their employers.
3. NATURE OF THE RELATIONSHIP
3.1 Advisors act as independent referrers.
3.2 Nothing in this programme creates an employment, agency, partnership, or contractor relationship.
3.3 Rustec exercises no control over the Advisor’s MOT duties, decisions, or professional judgement.
4. MOT INTEGRITY & PROFESSIONAL CONDUCT (CRITICAL)
4.1 Referrals must not influence MOT test results, advisories, or inspection outcomes.
4.2 Advisors must not exaggerate, fabricate, or misrepresent corrosion or vehicle condition.
4.3 Advisors must not pressure, coerce, or mislead customers.
4.4 Advisors may only recommend a free inspection, not guarantee or sell a treatment.
4.5 Any breach of MOT integrity immediately voids participation and any unpaid rewards.
5. VEHICLE SUITABILITY RULES
5.1 Acceptable Referrals
Advisors may only refer vehicles that are:
Generally clean underneath
Showing early or light surface corrosion only
Suitable for preventative treatment
Typically 3–6 years old (age is guidance, not a rule)
Vehicles the Advisor reasonably believes would benefit from early protection
5.2 Prohibited Referrals
Advisors must not refer:
Vehicles with heavy scale corrosion
Structural corrosion already established
Vehicles with visible previous welding
Vehicles with approximately 50% or more of underbody steel heavily corroded
Clearly neglected or unsuitable vehicles
Rustec reserves sole discretion to determine suitability.
6. REFERRAL PROCESS
6.1 Each Advisor is issued a unique referral ID / QR code.
6.2 A referral is only valid if the referral ID is captured at the point of initial enquiry.
6.3 Rustec is not responsible for referrals not correctly attributed due to missing or incorrect referral data.
6.4 The first captured referral ID takes precedence in the event of multiple claims.
7. REWARD STRUCTURE
7.1 Rewards are payable only for Completed Treatments.
7.2 Reward rates are:
£200 for first Completed Treatment
£50 per Completed Treatment thereafter
£100 bonus on every tenth thereafter (10) (20) (30)
7.3 Rewards are calculated monthly and paid by bank transfer.
7.4 No invoices are required.
7.5 Rustec may withhold rewards where:
The referral breaches these Terms
The vehicle is unsuitable
Fraud or manipulation is suspected
The customer cancels or does not proceed
Rustec’s decision is final.
8. TAX & FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITY
8.1 Rewards constitute referral income, not wages or salary.
8.2 Advisors are solely responsible for declaring and paying any tax, NI, or other liabilities.
8.3 Rustec accepts no responsibility for the Advisor’s tax compliance.
9. FRAUD, ABUSE & MISUSE
9.1 Any attempt to:
manipulate referrals
submit false referrals
influence MOT outcomes
claim rewards dishonestly
will result in immediate removal from the programme and forfeiture of unpaid rewards.
10. TERMINATION
10.1 Rustec may suspend or terminate an Advisor’s participation at any time, with or without notice.
10.2 Advisors may withdraw from the programme at any time.
10.3 Termination does not affect rewards already earned for valid Completed Treatments prior to termination, unless a breach is identified.
11. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
11.1 Rustec is not liable for:
employer disputes
loss of employment
regulatory action against the Advisor
indirect or consequential losses
Participation is entirely voluntary.
12. PROGRAMME CHANGES
12.1 Rustec may amend, suspend, or withdraw the programme at any time.
12.2 Continued participation constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
13. GOVERNING LAW
13.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
13.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
14. ACCEPTANCE
By registering for the Rustec MOT Advisor Referral Programme, the Advisor confirms that they:
have read and understood these Terms
agree to comply fully
acknowledge that breach may result in immediate removal from the scheme
MOT Independence & Regulatory Compliance
MOT Test Independence
Participation in this referral scheme must not, under any circumstances, influence the conduct, outcome, or recording of any MOT test. All MOT tests must be carried out strictly in accordance with DVSA regulations and testing manuals.
Timing of Referral
Referrals may only be made after the MOT test has been fully completed and recorded. No referral discussion, suggestion, or promotional material may be presented before or during the MOT test.
No Mention During Test
Affiliate participants must not mention Rustec, corrosion protection, rustproofing, inspections, or any related service while a vehicle is undergoing an MOT test.
Voluntary, Non-Advisory Referral
The referral scheme is a voluntary, post-test referral only and must not be presented as an MOT advisory, requirement, or recommendation linked to MOT pass or fail status.
No Conditional Outcomes
Referral payments are not linked to MOT results, advisories, failures, or any testing decision, and must never be perceived as such.
Breach & Immediate Termination
Any breach of this section will result in immediate removal from the affiliate programme, forfeiture of unpaid rewards, and permanent disqualification.

What's Involved?

Inspection & strip down
Every treatment begins with a comprehensive inspection of the vehicle, including photo documentation. This is followed by the removal of all splash guards and plastics covering the metal body.

Masking and protection
Following that, the entire vehicle's body and 'non-coat-able' components, such as exhausts, engine, and brakes, are meticulously masked up to prevent overspray.

Full under carrige clean
Next, the vehicle undergoes a thorough undercarriage steam clean, eliminating years of accumulated debris and unveiling surfaces ready for the rust treatment process.

Treatment & application
Upon completion, one of our rust-proofing product application experts meticulously applies the highest-quality products available on the market to both internal and external vehicle surfaces, utilizing methods such as high-pressure cavity injection (HPCI).

Rust removal & treatment
Our dedicated team meticulously addresses any existing rust on the vehicle by either removing it or treating it with our extensive and proven corrosion-beating methods.

Rebuild & sign off
After the product is fully cured, the vehicle is carefully rebuilt, thoroughly checked, and signed off with comprehensive photo documentation. You will receive a certificate of completion and your own service booklet, significantly enhancing the resale value of your car. Of course, all of this is backed by our Rustec guarantee.

We receive a lot of questions regarding our treatments, here is a compilation of frequently asked questions and answers to help inform your decision.
"How long does the underseal treatment take?"
Our underseal treatment takes 4 working days. This ensures a thorough cleaning, preparation, and application of rustproofing products for the very best results.
"How long does underseal last?"
The lifespan of the underseal depends on the treatment. Dinitrol products are rated to last approximately 5 years, depending on driving conditions and usage. Utilising our lifelong offering and continued upkeep of underseal protection, ensures that your vehicles underseal will last the vehicles' lifetime.
"How does your lifelong treatment work?"
Our lifelong treatment includes lifelong service book. You can return your vehicle annually or biennially for inspections. If wear or damage is detected, we will reapply the underseal to ensure continued life long protection.
"What are the prerequisites of booking a courtesy car?"
To book a courtesy car, you must:

Hold a valid, fully comprehensive UK driving licence.

Provide photo documentation of your insurance policy and driving licence.
Courtesy cars are subject to availability on a first-come, first-served basis, so please enquire when booking.
"When can I drop off my vehicle?"
You will receive a drop-off calendar 7 days before your treatment date. This allows you to choose the most convenient time to drop off your vehicle.
My vehicle has already been treated in the past but is now showing signs of rust, can you restore it?
Yes, depending on the condition of the existing underseal. Our process involves:

Removing any previous underseal to expose the bare metal.

Inspecting and removing any corrosion present.

Reapplying a fresh coat of underseal to ensure long-term rust protection.
"My vehicle needs welding, should I get that done before booking underseal treatment?"
We offer a welding service as part of our treatment process. If your vehicle requires welding repairs, any areas of concern uncovered during the treatment will be documented and sent to you with quotes for repair. It is entirely up to you whether to have the welding work done immediately or at a later time.
